Has anyone got a really good way of keeping hair spikey - mine seems to go flat before I've even left the house!!
I've tried gels, sprays, mousse, putty, wax, you name it but it still goes flat really quickly - thank god I wasn't a punk, I would've been a laughing stock!!!.....How on earth do they get mohicans to stay up??
(ps I'm female, shortish hair with spikey bits on the back/crown if that helps)
my hair id the same and i use a product by MATRIX its called tuftrix and its twisted gel i think u can get it from MATRIX and through a hair dressers that use the MATRIX products
hope this helps
no! you don't have to resort to 'theres something about mary'! I got fine hair which is very hard to spike but the thing that does it is Silvikrin Maximum Hold Hairspray. And you can brush it out and reapply etc. Its the best. Promise. Wax doesnt tend to be very good because it weighs hair down thus not spiking it at all. Also gel is quite heavy . That's why u need old skool hairspray.
Ps It'll do u a mohican as well.
Have u tried fudge? Im a guy and i had the same problem until a changed hairdresser and hair style and they used fudge. It is ace stuff. Comes in a grey pot with an orange top!! Highly reccomended!!
I use Paul Mitchell Lab Elastic Shaping Wax. It's excellent - it took me nearly 4 Years of having Short Hair and the same Problem of having Spikes when I left the House in the Morning but not when I got Home!! Now I have found it I'd never use anything else!!
