channel memory dvd

how do i wipe the channel memory from dvd and start again to load all the channels from my cable connection

I saw this post earlier on, and I thought "what an apt name" seeing as you didn't provide any details of what make DVD recorder you have (BTW, most have on screen help with set up, all you have to do is press the appropriate button).

Then I read it again, and the answer is you can't. Your recoder, be it DVD or Video, can only get the one channel that is connected to your cable, satellite or digibox, and what you get on that channel is solely down to what your cable, etc, is tuned to.
