torrent Q2!!

Me again, i am such a begginer so please bear with me!! okay iv dowloaded my first film using torrentspy, and its gone through azureus if im making sense, now its saved to my desktop and i want to watch it now on my laptop, but evertime i click on it, its just opening azureus again! maybe im just plain stupid but i persumed it would just open up in windows media player or summot?! its saved with a little icon that seems to have thre little flowers on it?! i must be doing summot wrong, can anyone help a confused begginer!!! is it in an archive - Winrar (for example?) lots of films you get from Torrent sites come in this format ,you then need to extract them to "wherever you wish to save them" , the extracting of these files would put them in an AVI/Mpeg format which you can watch with the appropriate media player. its worth getting VLC media player aswell this can play almost any format.

you are trying to open the torrent file , not the data that has been d/loaded.
You need to find where on the pc the actual film has been d/loaded to, and then try and play it.
open up Azeurus and look under Tools > Files and you will find it there
Depending on the format the file is in , you may bee able to play it straight away, ie. if its an .avi or an .mpeg for instance.
Or it may need unpacking if its in .rar format

not at all, its the sharing part thats illegal

boink: downloading is illegal too. And anyway, with BitTorrent you're intrinsically sharing too, so that one's mute.

Just because its a torrent doesnt mean its a copyrighted film you are just making assumptions so the talk of illegal blah blah blah, is purely academic.
