Hi,

Speaking as an electrical engineer it sounds like a faulty switch to me.

Regards
clearly you haven't switched it off if it stays on! - get a technician to check the switch and associated wiring!
Strange things dreams aren't they.?
Are you sure you're not pulling the shower isolator switch??
Do you have any plastic dusck or similar toys in the bathroom? Many of them are afraid of the dark.
Does it go off after a delay? Bathroom lights are often wired with an extraction fan which is deliberately set to stay on for a bit longer once the circuit is broken. Perhaps it is set up like this. If youre worried, ask an electrician to check. Electricity and bathrooms are not to be messed with.
My bathroom room light wouldn't come on, even when I turned it on. I changed the bulb and it worked ok after that. You could try that.

Or you could just turn the electricity off to your whole house, that should do it. If the light still stays on, I'll buy the bulb off you!
If the switch don't switch when you switch the switch then switch the switch that doesn't switch to a switch that switches when you switch the switch.
mibn2cweus Thanks for a laugh.
I needed that.
