Wireless/wired on same laptop problem
0 Answers
Hello,
Having a slight problem when I've got both a wireless connection & wired connection enabled at the same time.
Here's the setup....
Usb dongle for connecting to the wireless router, internet works fine.
Then I use ethernet to ftp into my xbox. As soon as this connects to my xbox, the wireless connection stops but doesnt actually disconnect - it just won't load any pages, and just gives the normal timeout error.
I'm guessing it's something to do with ip's or the subnet being the same for both connections.
I have tried changing the subnet with one of the connections, but still as soon as the wired connection (pc to xbox) connects, wireless data stops - but still with a connected status under the Network Connections part.
Oh and as soon as I switch off the xbox (wired connection stops) pages load fine through wireless.
Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers
matt
