My shower cuts out

My electric shower has been running perfectly fine for the last six months, just recently it cuts out when i'm trying to shower. Sometimes it wont cut out, sometimes right near the beginning etc. It generally comes back on after about five minutes but it's driving me nuts! Any ideas?

Sounds like a failing low water-pressure switch which won't allow the shower to heat if there's not enough water mains pressure. If so, a switch replacement would be needed.
