AOL E-mails

When I send e-mails to a friend who has AOL (not Outlook Express) she says she can see they are from me and she can read the subject name but she then clicks on read and all she sees is lines and lines of letters and numbers with none it of making any sense. Any ideas please?

I've fixed it. If you open up a new message and click on format and then encoding. I've now defaulted all mention of encoding to Western Europe Windows and she can now read my emails. Thanks for making enquiries though.
