Watching Sky on a 2nd TV
3 Answers
I have a sky digibox plugged into my TV downstirs in the living room and I would like to be able to watch it in my bedroom upstairs. What is the best way to do this? The dish is on the other side of the house to my room so is it possible to do it remotely and have the picture sent via infrared or something? Plus, will I be able to change channel in my room? (I know u can't watch a different channel on the 2 TV's), does it matter that the tele in my room dosen't have a remote control? Thanks.

If you don't want to deal with long cables, you could connect the sky box to a 'video sender' which re-broadcasts the signal around your house. With luck you can then tune any tv in the house in to sky. I say 'with luck' because video senders tend to have a fairly limited range and the position of walls and furniture in the house can affect them. The position of the dish has nothing to do with it, it is the box that matters. You can control the channel change using one of the devices that send remote control signals from one room to the one in which the sky box is situated.
