There is a possibility that my site may close and the work moved to another site within the company. Im not keen to move and would prefer redundancy. Is there a distance that my employer can expect me to travel rather than give me redundancy?

doesnt give an exact answer but if the new site requires excesive travel then you may have grounds for asking for redundancy.
