loss of my two removable drives

i've lost both of my removable drives on my desktop computer and wish to find out how to get them back .i can't do anything that involves a cd .the draws open and close but when i go into my computer theres only the A drive ( floppy) and C and D drives (hard disks) no E and F .can anyone help . i run windows 98 S/E. thanks
