further to my earlier questions about softening leather, does anyone know where i can get my hands on either of the above?

Linseed oil should be available at a good artist's suppliers, and for saddle-soap - ask at your local riding-school where they buy theirs.

You should be able to get Linseed oil at any good sports shop, as it is used on cricket bats.
