They say The first thing to realize when attempting to understand the nature of Joe's Energy Cell is that many of the precepts and rules of conventional science do not apply.

Apparently it uses Orgone energy it is further said: Wilhelm Reich, a titan among 20th century scientists, discovered orgone energy in the late 1930's as an outgrowth of his study of the psychic and physiological functions of the sexual orgasm

Wilhelm Reich (look him up on wikipedia) came to be viewed by the psychoanalytic establishment as having "gone astray" or of having succumbed to mental illness.

Aside from providing the all time cop-out for failing to demonstrate a working version, imagine if it were true: there you are, off to work in the morning in your newly converted "free energy vehicle", and you pass a non-believer. Instantly the cell discharges, the car stops, you never make it to work, and get the sack!
Still, you don't need money any more, 'cos you've got all the free energy you want.
