i need some help how do i transfer files to MEMORY CARD not to phone itself, it doesn't seem to give the option in the software, so for now i have to save to phone first then move to memory card, the only problem i have is some of the movie clips i want to put on my phone are bigger than the phones memory, so... i go and buy a 1GB mem card, and now i cant save to it ...... any help would be cool. thanx in advance.

Forget the Samsung PC studio, it is a pile of Cr@p!! For easy access to file tranfers between the PC to Phone or Phone to PC -> plug in the phone via USB cable first. Then, go into the D900''s menu and select ''Settings'', select ''Phone Settings'' and then select ''USB'' Settings. Once in this USB sub menu, choose ''Mass Storage'' and wah-lah!! - the PC picks the phone up as an additional ''disc drive'' and you can open the D900''s ''My Files'' folder and copy&past any file backwards and forwards as you would do on your PC between PC folders or disc drives. You can create or delete folders, put MP3''s on, pictures etc as easily as you would if you were using your PC. If you have a MicroSD card (bonus!!), you can put files accross to the card this way too. I put 3gp converted movies on the mem card and watch them whilst on a long drive or going to&from work. Don''t know if many know this, but ''YES'' the D900 has the capability of playing full movies which have been converted to 3gp!! - Press ''1'' on the keypad to watch them in full screen mode. (But.... the media player will only play a full length movie from your mem card only - I have the sandisc 1gb mem card and it works A1 - no glitches)
The only drawback in using this method is that you can''t access the phone''s internal menus, i.e phone book functions etc, as you would through PC Studio. But.... Let''s face it, the software is not the most intuitively designed stuff I''ve seen, and not what I would come to expect with this phone!! Better off manipulating phone book etc using the phone directly.
PS - once you disconnect the phone from the PC, the phone automatically reverts the USB ''Mass Storage'' setting back to ''Modem''. You can now use your D900 as you did prior to connecting it to the PC.
Cheers
