Bug in my Computer
4 Answers
Just thought you would like to know, I had a pop up asking me to update on my Windows XP and, according to AOL it gave me a BUG in my PC. I couldn't open AOL and have just been on the phone for 20 minutes to AOL fixing the problem. So word of warning ... don't update! Has anyone else had this problem?

I really wish aol would sort this, but they dont want to know. If only i knew how easy it was to change isp I would, but they all seem to offer different things.
Sorry to but in on your question smurfchops.

bigsister I agree with you. I don't want the hassle of changing my email IDs etc etc and there are so many to choose from, sometimes it's better the devil you know. I do agree that AOL is so slow zzzzzzzzzzzz to open. They are absolutely terrible at answering the customer service line, I was ringing from 6pm to 11pm last night and gave up - plus it isn't a free phone call. I phoned dead on 8am this morning and got thru straight away, so there's a little hint. But the guy was in India and had a very strong accent, anyway I got used to that and he did in fact solve the problem after telling me not to update those pop ups. Quite often they go thru the process then say there's nothing wrong, it must be the phone line, which it isn't. Sometimes I just phone my computer man here and he helps me, instead of ringing AOL. Fingers crossed, OK now.
