What is the policy on removing or moving questions? Some are poorly phrased. Some have serious and confusing mistakes. Some are in the wrong category; the history section is full of trivia nothing to do with history. Plenty of questions seem to be asked by people who don't really want to know the answer- trick questions and so on.

Some have their brain run ahead of their typing and they are not ignorant either so I believe the majority of ABers recognise a serious post/answer even if it is spelt and phrased wrongly. As to posting questions under wrong topics I have already posted this self same point. I have two answers - (a) AB is properly patrolled by AB ed and her cronies and posts in the wrong topic are reposted under the right topic and (b) the ABers simply ignore posts that are under the wrong topic and don't answer them until they are posted under the right topic. I am NOT blaming the new ed but I do see that AB is a free for all that it never was before where any topic can be posted anywhere simply to get attention-response-replies and its very difficult to read interesting topics and wade through crap that has been posted in the wrong place.
Careful, zimzam, with your 'phraseologogy', you`ll be getting your knuckles rapped!
I can sympathise with posters who make mistakes.
Living with a foreign language every day, I have to pick my wording (and spelling ) very carefully and still sometimes need a dictionary. My posts can take a while to write, because halfway I realise the grammar`s wrong. That`s why I try to keep them short. And I make no apologies for mistakes, jb!

you shouldn't have to get into a sweat tara over a post, I think it's wrong that you feel you should have to just to stop the pedants clamouring for your blood!
we all make spelling and grammar mistakes, as long as if a post is readable and everyone understands your point, it really shouldn't be an issue at all. The only thing I really hate with a passion is text speak, that in my opinion is pure laziness.
