Does anyone know how i can stop the interference from my sky digitalbox that i get wen i am watching a DVD there is always a constant shadow of whateve is being shown on digital in the background of the DVD picture, I have tried switching the Digital off but the quality of the DVD picture declines significantly !!

think you gotta change your video channel or tweak your video channel on the player off of channel 36 or whatever it's clashing with sky channel.. if a straight change from say 36 to 37 38 etc doesn't work there's a fragile grubscrew usually just turn it a bit to go inbetween channels.
Your DVD player should be coming in on the aux channel of your TV so shouldn't be affected by other channels. I think this could be similar to a problem I had. The DVD player is introducing the feedback and is picking up the 'ghost' from the video return line on the scart. To fix it I had to open up the scart and cut one of the lines ( pin 19 at the DVD end I think ) I now get a crystal clear picture. Worst case scenario - you have to buy a new scart lead.
