The TV licence in Ghana costs 3,000 cedis per year in a country where there are about five times as many radios as television sets. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. That's 17p per year !!!

The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation is the public broadcaster of Ghana. It is funded by the levying of a television licence and by broadcasting television commercials.
