Unblock toilet - blocked with Kitchen roll

How would i unblock a toilet that someone has accidently put kitchen roll down? thank you

You might have to do what I had to with mine when my 18yr old put babywipes in it (why? Gawd knows!) I donned a pair of rubbergloves and literally had to scoop it out, oh it was a lovely job!

You could try a plunger before going down the yukky rubber gloves route. Or try a bucket of water poured from a great height - it has more force than the usual flush mechanism.

Oh dear me. Shove your hand down, pull it all out, flush toilet, wash hans, kick the backside of whoever put it there, keep kitchen roll in the kitchen, problem solved - what problem???

I would try the Figi solution first but use hot water, this works well if the normal solid matter is more solid than normal.

pour a bucket of hot water down toilet from a bit of a height

might not be wise to force it down as it may just get stuck further along - where you can't reach it, meaning you will have to get a plumber in.

best to fish it out with your hands.

Hi shelley2 If you mean the cardboard middle then you have to try and retrieve it possible with previous posts or a
very flexible approx 20 mm dia max 1 mtr long spiral spring from b&q /wickes or local merchants that revolves round the trap and it grabs any foreign bodies on the way if on the other hand it is just over whelmed with tissues then just get a old fashion mop & bucket put the mop firmly down into the trap flushto fill pan with water then VIGOROUSLY plunge mop head up and down into the pan base/ bend until it is free HTH Tez
