concert tickets gone missing
4 Answers
I purchased tickets from ebay, received a plastic bag this morning from royal mail with an empty envelope inside, no tickets, the envelope had been ripped open, there is a recorded delivery sticker on the envelope, so the seller did send them to me, I have contacted the arena and they have said that they might not be able to do anything and the seller has to get involved, but they are still not sure if they can issue him with new tickets!! Has anyone else been in this situation, if so what did you do? I was thinking of contacting the police as royal mail have just appologised and not even looked into it and only offered 30 back, Can anyone help???

You say the envolope was ripped open was the plastic bag open?
The seller should get involed because you have not received the goods also ask him to contact the post office and put a claim in.If he wont it all sounds dodgey to me.
I would also let ebay know as if he is a long time seller ebay could pay you.
Also ask him for the number of the ticket and get them cancelled

If he sent them by recorded delivery they would only have been insured up to 32.
The seller must make a claim to the post office to get that money back - you will not be able to claim through the post office yourself.
If you paid with PayPal you can claim your money back from them up to the value of 500
