hi can someone please tell me how to change the message tone (when u recieve a text )?

HI - I do have a samsung phone but its not a E370 - however i think the menus are the same on all samsung phones so here goes - just go into your menu and select 'settings', then select 'sound settings' then 'message tone' that should bring up your list of availabel alert sounds for messages etc...hope it works ok.

thanks Roughquest yes that does work on the e370 but it doent seem to let me put my own tones for the messages it does for the ringtones,it only seems to let you use the factory setting tones for messages.

Ah yes, I see what you mean now, no you cant use ringtones for text messag alert tones, this is very annoying...I dont think you can do this on any of the more modern samsungs either....shame though.
