I can't believe you think that is worth knowing.
And I can't believe a comment like that on this website!

To answer the question - it's very similar to that builder's hole-filling foam that comes in aerosol cans, only denser, and it's formed in a shaped mould.

that does'nt answer the question. It's a silly un-informed guess.

Thanks for your answer Heathfield..... if you happen upon something that explains whether the foam can be vacuum formed to shape, and therefore initially extruded into sheet, be sure to let me know.
