making a image file smaller so it will upload quicker

I have some 602 KG easyshare jpg files of photos of items that I want to put on ebay but they are taking too long to upload. Does anyone know how to make them smaller?

yeah,Right click the file/image,select......'open with',,,,,,,,'paint'.
after paint opens........select......'image'.......then.....'stretch skew'.
enter the amount you want to reduce it in% in the stretch boxes. i.e. 50. reduce the horizontal by the same as the vertical though,or it will look daft.
If you want to save it, go to 'save as' and call it something different,,,,i.e' ipod2' or the original will be changed.
Paint will also enlarge images too,just put more than 100% in the boxes,,,,i.e 155%.

I guess the file is smaller cos I've just followed your instructions and it uploaded to ebay really quickly. so thanks for that. It's useful to know how to do it.

get irfanview, thats what i use, i downloaded it free, it reduces the photos down in size but dont lose any of the quality hope this helps
