PC shuts down when playing games ?

Sometimes when I play games on my pc it just shuts off and reboots.The pc is more than capable of running the games so im at a loss why this should happen.
Can anyone help ?

It turned out that the fan on the power supply wasn't working and it was over heating,so i changed the power supply to a 550 watt and i haven't had a problem since and case is nice and cool.........................

I would agree that the power supply is not good enough.
Get a quality PSU. If this doesnt work then take out the memory, carefull not to touch the contacts and clean them with a pen eraser and reposition.
Boot up into the bios and check to see if there is a hardware monitor and checkout the voltages and temperature to see if this also is a problem.
