virtual memory
0 Answers
My home PC was running extremly slow. After trying numerous things to improve performance i read that you can allocate extra virtual memory which will help the computers speed. After increasing the memory allowance all seemed to be good.
But once i rebooted the computer many of the applications didnt load, i was getting messages about there not being enough virtual memory space for things to load, and the computer wouldn't even read CD's for me to reboot the computer back to factory settings.
I couldnt even bring up the page to change the virtual memory back to its original settings.
Any idea how i can fix this? Any hardware that may help?
