Is there now a spell check on this site? I just had two incorrectly words underlined.

One was tyre and it suggested tire so I assume it is American origin.

Well I got one and I don't know how?

Tyre droppd skream thiers

They have all been underlined in red and a dictionary facility added as in "Word"
What browser are you using? I use firefox

I seem to have inherited one also. If I spell incorrectly, the word gets underlined in red; however, it does not give the correct spelling. And it only seems to work on AB: not in my emails or anywhere else. I am using Firefox.
spellcheck works on others forums I use so it must be firefox as I use that
Firefox comes with a spell checker. You can also download new dictionaries.
Right click on the spelling correction & you can select your country language.
Just to bring together some of the previous answers:

It looks like you're using the latest version of Firefox. If so, it has an American spell-checker built in. To download the British version, go here
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/
Click 'New Firefox Add-ons', then 'Dictionaries' and then the link alongside 'en-gb'. (It's a very small download; it only takes a few seconds).

You'll initially find that nothing has changed. Firefox will still underline words like 'colour' as being incorrect. However, if you right-click on such a word, you can select 'Languages > English / United Kingdom'. Thereafter, the British dictionary will be used by default.

Ethel:
I assume that you're using an older version of Firefox. If you upgrade to Firefox 2, you'll discover the spell checker.

PS: I've just had to right-click to add a word to Firefox's dictionary. The word it didn't recognise was 'Firefox'! ;-)
Thanks, cris. I just tried that and eurika! it works!
Sorry, also thanks to you, ju5t.
I use Google, just use the google spell checker.
I've been using 2.0.0.3 for a little while, and had the UK English dictionary for months.
