If a partner has a disability, are you able to work part-time hours without having any benefits deducted? Benefits received are disability allowance & income support.

The income support may be affected, not the disability allowance.

Your question is confusing.

If the person with the disability is working they will lose the income support and depending on the job also the disability allowance.

If the person working is not disabled this will not effect the disabled persons allowances in any way.

Sorry to contradict, toureman, but if the joint income exceeds certain limits the income support will either stop or be reduced.

So the partner of the disabled person can work, but risk losing income support, depending on how much is earned.

and to cntradict him further .. disabilty living allowance can be claimed even if you are working full time

I wanted to know this as I wanted to work, not my partner as he has the disability. Thanks to you all
