Approxiamately 4 years ago i paid a company �7000 for a homeworking

Approx 4 years ago i paid a company around �7000 for a homebased franchise which never materialised and i was basically conned.I don't fully understand what happened but the company directors were crooks in short.I f i could now locate trhese directors somehow is there anything i could do to get my money back?

Why wait 4 years? If you could trace them and prove it I suppose you could get your money back but in reality I would say you have no chance.

At the time 4 years ago everyone involved who got done said well there is nothing that we can do - i also spoke to a solicitor who said the case looked hopeless.there was no communication channels.
i have not located the directors or anything like that - i just asked the question because i read somewhre that if the company got disolved than may be it is possible to go for the director/directors personally involved and then do something. I don't know this is just shot s in the dark may be but i lost �7000 and so did many others and none of us could anything at the time - i just feel sick about it.
