Damp in solid masonry wall
2 Answers
Hope someone out there can help me pse.
Have just bought a v. small 19th Century cottage in the country that has a back wall that is built into the side of a hill. 95 per cent of the property is completely damp free but it has one wall that feels damp and has evident signs of water ingress. Trouble is: the wall in question is made out of solid masonry and so does not contain a cavity that can be injected into. Does anyone know how to deal with a solid masonry wall that is damp affected please?
