Depending on the total household income and your savings you could be entitled to council tax benefit, housing benefit, income support (whatever name it goes by now) and you really should contact your local benefit office or citizens' advice bureau for advice.

But you haven't really given enough information re your circumstances. If you are 19 and living with your parents your entitlements would be less than a married man with a family to support.
You can try Income Support, if you are a single person i dont think you would be entitled to anything, single persons entitlement is 59.15 per week they would take the 72.55 into account. and it would nil you. once your ssp stops you would need to claim incapacity benefit if you are still classed as ill, and give them medical certificates. If you have always worked you may receive money from them. but i would try your local office ie. jobcentre, council, you need all the help you can to get you back on your feet, if you have paid into the system, then get the support you deserve. Not sure if tax credits could help, maybe worth a ring.
