!!!! Help With internet shopping !!!!

Can anybody help me ?
I placed an order with an Internet book company the monies has been taken from my account. I payed with my debit card i have not received the book. I have rang and emailed the company they said there has been a problem with the order. And said they will refund the monies back this was over a month ago now.
I have still not received any monies back and they company wont answer the phone or reply to my emails now.
Is there any internet authority i can contact ?
The books cost �20
Is there anything i can do ?
Any help appreciated

dave1969, its a pity you didnt pay with credit card,paying that way you dont lose out,i paid 100.00 for some furnishings never got a thing ,contacted the credit card ,sent copies of e-mails to them within 2 days i got a �100 credited to my card, using debit cards the bank just say its your money not theirs so remember never pay for goods on line with debit card ,use credit card you lose nothing
ps have you rang your trading standards office, they could suggest something. GOOD-LUCK .

Slight correction to Frajon's reply. The major credit card companies will only issue refunds in cases such as this, where the transaction value is �100 or more.

Ive have found another phone number of the company and they seem to answer this number. The company said they will refund the monies back to my account so i will have to wait and see now..
