Ariston cooker hob?

Hi my electric ariston cookers main ring on the separate hob keeps tripping my mains fuses every time i switch this ring on although the rest work okay.I have been told the chances are the element has gone and needs replacing but there lies my problem as i dont know how to get access to the element.Do i screw the ring off or lift the whole hob out to get at it from under my hob.Please any help would be appreciated.

Not familiar with your particular hob but yes, the elements are replaceable and can usually be accessed from below - there are usually clips holding the hob it onto the work top and these will have to be released to gain acess to it - just remember to Isolate the electricity first before doing so - wouldn't like to hear of you get lit up. If your oven sits belowe the hob- -they usually pull out to gain access.
