Can people read your messages if your phone is on bluetooth?

Is it true that if your phones bluetooth is switched on other people can look at your messages and pictures?Is it also true that this only works on Samsung?

If in range they might well be able to do,Its a radio link and other bluetooth are receivers.

If you enable Bluetooth, make it require a password. If anyone tries to get it, you'll be asked to allow it.

Howver, I haven't looked at bluejacking in detail, maybe the software they use can get round these precautions - you'll just have to read up on it.
