Could someone with the relevant knowlege please help me here. Hubby is well miffed because I went ahead and bought MY OWN new used car without his 'expert opinion'. I've always only ever bought cars at a round the 2000 mark , mainly japanese makes in private salesand I've always had my moneys worth out of them. This time I've bought from a dealer and my other half reckons Ive been didled out of a thousand quid. Well I dont think so and I like the car because I want to start car booting. Could someone in the know please tell me if I've been robbed? 1996 Honda accord aerodeck(freshly imported from Japan by reputable dealer) mint condition inside and out, 55000 miles (not km's) all new tyres, automatic, A/c, dark met paint and privacy glass on all back windows, 12 mths MOT and a new exhaust back box and it drives beautifully. I was happy to hand over 2250. Hubby reckons he could have got it for a thousand less. Is he right?
