watched a documentry about the drug, which was interesting, accept mostly about america. it showed you the side effects, mainly rotten teeth, unhealthy skin and a change in facial appearence overall. but it never explained how or why this happened, which is what i was interested in! can anyone explain it, atleast basically, if only to satisfy curiosity!

Unhealthy skin for several reasons - users are poisoning themselves and damaging their immune system. They are literally ravaging themselves by using this drug. Look at any down and out alcoholic that drinks meths and you will see the same. The liver and kidneys stop functioning properly so the toxins in the system aren't being processed and expelled naturally.
Also they neglect themselves - they simply don't eat properly, and often go days without eating. This will have a bad effect on the skin.

the 'meth' in crystal meth is not methalyted spirit..its short for methamphetamine..it comes in crystal form, and is smoked like cocaine so its shortened to crystal meth.
Meth mouth is caused by taking too much crystal meth. no one is totally sure why this happens, but it is probably linked to the fact you get a dry mouth, as you dont produce as much saliva, and when high you tend to grind your teeth. i suppose if you are high on drugs your last priority would be your oral health!! so its a quite quick deterioration.
all quite horrible really!
