shower problem

I have a Triton T80si which even when it is on a mid setting dispenses roasting hot water. When I try to adjust the setting and turn the dial it only clicks at the high or the low (max heat, max cold) there seems to be no setting in between. Is this a problem with water pressure or the thermostat?

Clean your sprayhead maybe it is partially blocked
Check waterflow[ie stop valves are fully open]

I had the exact same shower and the exact same problem in my last home, unfortunately it's the thermostat that's the problem. My plumber ordered the part direct from Triton and it took him 10 minutes to fix.
