Google Earth

Can anyone tell me how old the pictures on google earth are? Ive been looking at my house on there, lol. I moved to my address in January 2006. The previous occupant of my house had a greenhouse in the garden, it was gone when I moved in here but the greenhouse is still in the garden on google earth :>)

Google Earth is brill isnt it but I think they only update bit by bit, where I live isnt even on it ! Its all blurred out and Ive been looking for 2 years, so I guess its less often than 2 years for some areas.

hmm they are a bit slow aint they? lol. I live in the midlands and my sister lives in wiltshire and her house isnt on there either, its still the field that was previously there, lol. She moved there in March 2003

my bits been updated twice in two years, but it seems a bit erratic. The last time must have been midwinter judging by the long shadows

Yea they haven't caught up on a lot of places. I'm still looking at a pic of my house from a dozen years ago.
