Can you help me remember a1970s kids' TV Sci-Fi show?
Hi,
I can vaguely remember the opening titles to a kids sci-fi show which I think would have been on tv in the late 70s (possibly ITV). I can only really remember that it had lots of quick shots including a brief shot of a large spaceship moving horizontally across the screen and a mirror image of it moving the other way above, like a split-screen effect ot the ship passing itself. I thought it might be the Tomorrow People but I watched the titles for that on YouTube and it's nothing like it. I have only vague memories of the show itself, I think it had a kind of 70s Space1999 type feel though it may have been set on Earth. I have eliminated UFO, Space 1999, and all the usual stuff already! I also have a vague memory of a scene where some people were in the back of a car in present times and the car could drive itself. They would say things to the car like "I want you to crash through that barrier but not injure anyone". However, I'm not entirely sure this is the same show, it sounds like it could be the Tomorrow People. Yeah, sorry, all very vague I know!

The show had the same production designer as "Space 1999" ( who worked on Star Maidens between seasons of Space 1999 ).
See if this jogs any memories...
