i pod classic or the touch??
3 Answers
im in a bit of a dilemma! i need to choose betweena n ipod classic and an i pod touch. ive heard different stories. one is that the ipod touch is crap because it only has an 8gb memory, but on the other hand its meant to be able to use a flash player which actually stores more than that? i havnt got a clue!!! the classic is good as it has up to 160gb but has a smaller screen. but the flash player and stuff confuses me, so i need someone to explain it all to me in a nut shell, if you would! lol!! please !!!!!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxx
ps = i need it in basic language and not gobbledegook! :)

I have had a go of the iPod touch and it's pretty cool, but at the end of the day it's a bit of a gimmick and I'd do for the classic due to the bigger memory.
In terms of screen size the touch is indeed bigger but with 8Gb of storage you won't be able to carry to many movies around at once, the latest "classic" iPod screens are more than big/good enough to watch video.

WoWo: what's gimmicky about the iPod Touch?
The choice is simple:
If you absolutely must have all your music with you at all times (and you have a few hundred CDs), then go with the classic.
If you can live with just 30 or 40 albums, then go with the touch.
The fact that the touch also has the best portable web browser is the thing that makes it better than the classic.
