Erith isn't in London - Nearest station is Eirth about 10 mins away

Erith railway station looks very close looing at google earth.

Trains depart Charing cross approximately every 10 minutes.

Erith is nearest but Barneshurst is only a short distance further and may (or may not) have a better service.

erith and barnhurst are about the same distance away. both stations have cab offices on them. or you can get a bus 269 or b12 from erith that will take you to very near emes road or a 269 from barnhurst that will also take you very near. the walk from barnhurst to emes road is about 20 mins and is a straight road on a slight hill. from erith its about 20 mins also but all up hill
