Ebay Payment Method - buyer

I have purchased an item from Ebay and initially opted to pay by personal cheque. Now I have changed my mind and want to pay by PayPal instead.

The item is marked as not yet paid in My Ebay, but I cannot get the Pay Now PayPal button to come back on the item listing. How do I bring back the PayPal option?

Was PayPal originally offered by the seller?

Have you had an invoice with the PayPal option?

Thanks Ethel. PayPal was offered as the preferred method, but I ignored it at first as I could not remember my password. Anyway, your answer referred me back to the original invoice, from there I got my sellers emails address, and with that I was able to send the payment through PayPal. Great - it's been driving me nuts all day!
