laptop problems

When I am typing on my laptop sometimes the cursor jumps to another position on the text and types there even though I am typing straight text. It also happens when I am emailing, sometimes the emails get sent before I have finished typing and I haven't sent it myself. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
