Does anyone know a website that says about how many TV channels there are, either in the UK or in the world?

I don't think you could have a definitive answer, as they come and go like buses these days.

as stated earlier a lt of channels come and go, just recently in the UK we've seen Virgin 1 launch on Freeview and UK lIving turn into Dave.
