Hello,
Can any tell me if it is possible to run any kind of wireless internet router from a pc to a mac?
Do i need a special kind of router or doesn't it matter?

Your question is somewhat confusing.

You can certainly connect any wireless router to a modem, and connect pcs and macs wirelessly (if the pcs are wireless enabled) or wired by ethernet.

I have pc wireless network set up and am about to buy a mac. I've been told they all work together and the mac will pick up my router and work wirelessly with it.
