How do the doors operate on underground trains. Can the passengers open them in an emergency? Like the ones used on the Isle of Wight.

On the Underground, no one can open the doors except the driver. Imagine the mayhem if the train stopped in the tunnel and some idiot opened the door because they thought they needed to!. I'm a bit surprised if you can do that on the IoW (which, last time I was there, used old tube trains)
