Kwicky - from your posts I don't believe you're naive enough to believe that modern politics precludes assassination. In this day and age I'd imagine it's possibly even more commn than in the past.

The big question is "Is this to defend the state or persons in power?"
fact is, you'll never know.

Whickerman we all know that David Kelly the Iraq inspector was murdered to protect Tony Blair and under the codename 'mason'. It doesn;t take much working out what band of brothers did this!
couldn't be more wrong there kwicky - I'm in agreement with you!

I don't think that covert assassination is in any nation's interest, but i do believe it goes on, and i do believe it is done solely to protect those in power.
