sorry about spelling.i have a jml air purifier and ioniser.anybody else have one and what do you think of them...how do the ioniser work do you think it hype or do you think they really are good for the health?

I don't know about the health issues, but an ioniser works by balancing the negatively charged particles given off by electrcal equipment, by sending out positively charged particles. The only benefit that I know of is a reduction in dust!

I don't know if this topic is still of interest right now but I would like to provide with an answer. The ionizers purifiers or the purifiers with ionic breeze technology are very effective if they are used in a combination with another technology like photo-catalytic oxidation or HEPA filters. The best purifiers and the mark that combines these technologies are the IQAir. Even if they are not cheap the overall performance is very high.
