Nightmare Property Viewers !!!!
I have had my house on the market (I love it to bits) but felt if I were to sell then release the equity I could buy a flat outright. We have a house in Spain so want a base in each country. I have had the most horrendous obnoxious people viewing my home and what put the tin lid on it was that on Sunday 4 adults(same family) came to view at once.I couldnt keep track of them -it was a nightmare -one was looking at all my personal photos on the wall -then I looked back and 2 had just gone back into my bedroom (my personal sanctuary) without saying a word -in the meantime the guy had wandered through my kitchen and hall and out the back door and was now raking through my garden. It was a nightmare -anyone else had a nightmare experience? BTW -alls well that ends well as I phoned my BS today and just by putting a little extra away a month to the mortgage -it will be mine in a couple of years -all that for nothing-the signs are down and its off the market -phew -feel brill!!!!! We are now planning what we want to do with the house what a great feeling.

I am very polite, I let the owner lead the way, I always ask the owner if I may enter a room (sometimes for a second look) but some of the horror stories I could tell you about! One bathroom still has toe nail clippings all over the floor and the carpets hadnt been hoovered for about a year (and that was before we noticed all the walls were covered in damp!) Some owners (normally tenants) just tell us to have a look then sit down. It feels so rude to look round the house but the tenant cant be bothered. Be so glad when I have bought somewhere!
