Does anyone know of a really good whitener to put in with my whites wash ? My daughter's school polo shirts are looking a bit dull. I can't use bleach as they have the school logo on. I've tried all sorts but nothing seems to work.
Thanks

hi Jillius
the stegess uses vanish.
How about Oxi wash ??
Question Author
I've tried Vanish but it didn't live up to my expectations. Having said that, Vanish do several products so perhaps I need to use a different one. I'll see what sainsbury's has this aft.

Thanks steg

sleepyj......that once happened to me ! That's why i know not to do it again lol
soda crystals are great add 1 cap full 2 your wash and there very cheap about 70p

Will they sell them in the supermarket jammy ?
Soda Crystals, you can get them from any supermarket usually next to the soap powders etc and only cost about 60p. I live in a house that has no mains water we have a well and also a septic tank. I cannot use bleach of any kind but a cup full of soda crystals in your soap drawer as well as your usual detergent really makes your whites shine.

I use Glo-White in wash sachets all the time on my work shirts and Dylon in wash starch instead of softener.
My shirts always come up a treat and I'm very proud of my whites.
The future Mrs. Ev has got alot to live up to...
I've always got on well with 'Glo White'.
