combi gas boiler pressure loop

I have a Vaillant Turbo Combi boiler which has a pressure gauge (this is fitted in the heating water topping up loop I believe). I have noticed that during the recent cold spell where the heating has been running more or less constantly (I am a retired pensioner so have it running mostly all day) the pressure is needing to be "topped up" each day. Is this normal, as I am sure it only normally needed this say once a week or so. Thanks in advance for any advice.

no its not normal neither is topping up once a week you either lave a leak somewhere or it is losing pressure via the pressure relief valve (looks like an overflow to outside)

no it is a sealed system and should not need topping up at all unless you have a leak or the water is being dumped out the back of the boiler thru the pressure relief valve.
there should be a pipe below the boiler that goes thru the wall to outside, pop outside and see if you can see this pipe dripping.
also go around all the radiators and see if theres any leaks on any of the valves.
you need a heating engineer in to sort the problem as running the boiler low on water wont do it much good.
