The court case i was on (jury service) used text messages as to wether the accused knew someone they denied knowing,,, all the text were printed out for us to read..so maybe itcould be used? hope you get someone on here that can tell you exactly if it will stand up in court?
Yes and they are subject to the same rules as any other written or recorded evidence. They are not to be excluded simply because they are text messages or voicemails. In some cases the content of a text message or voicemail might be very important
